VEON is the 9th largest mobile network operator in the world, supplying telecom networks & services to over 200 million customers in 10 diverse across Asia, Africa & Europe.

In 2017, the VEON product launched across 10 markets, with a range of world-firsts in service management, integrated maps & services, entertainment channels, and all importantly: no barriers to use.

Design Vision

My initial involvement in the project was via Native, VEON's agency. I was bought in to help their design team in the early stages of the design phase. 

A unique brand interface was brought to life with a vision film, showing a bright future with innovative new partnerships & integrations seamlessly providing real value to customers' lives.

Discovery & UX

The discovery phase kicked off with a workshop to help understand the lifecycle of three core user types, mapping their key interactions within TOH spaces, and within the app itself.

The final artefact; a user journey map, was used to inform the next phase of UX: wireframing, we also used it to identify areas where we wanted the app to lean-in to the brand and create loveable moments.

We explored many layout configurations and decided how best to surface interactions within the app based on personalised, and location factors.

Bringing the brand to life across the app experience.

Make it home, Give control, Create a lasting impression, Build it better form the foundation for the brand across the entire guest experience. We infused this across the app, being very intentional with the design and where to express the brand, and when to pair back.

Capturing The Other House’s unique hospitality concept and brand and expressing it with a custom Wordpress site.

The Other House blurs the lines between hotels, serviced apartments, and members' clubs offering first-class fitness and wellness facilities, with a restaurant and bar also inside.
