BACKGROUND.

The Other House was launching a new concept in luxury hospitality: a Residents Club blurring the line between apartment, hotel, and private members' club: built around design, sustainability, and locally sourced British-made craft.

Design.Studio were hired to create the identity; I was brought on to lead product design across the guest app and brochure site. I worked directly with the TOH CEO and DS teams to translate a bold brand into a seamless digital experience.

CHALLENGE.

The brief was to build a digital experience as considered as the physical one, frictionless for guests, unmistakably on-brand, and genuinely useful before, during, and after a stay. A seamless digital experience from booking to check-out was crucial in providing a totally unique offer to residents.

ROLE.

Approached by Design.Studio’s Creative Director to help support the digital extension and identity. I lead the product design across both app and web experiences, helping shape the digital expression of the brand.

Working in close collaboration with The Other House, I led a series of discovery workshops to map the full resident, guest, and member journeys, then shaped that insight into design across every touchpoint of a stay.

FEEL AT HOME.

Check in from your taxi, order a drink, summon the lift, and even see how busy the gym is from your bed, every aspect of the UX gives residents absolute control of their stay.

BROCHURE + BOOKING WEBSITE.

Designed to convey luxury without over-explaining it. Whilst the interior design takes a more maximalist approach, the UI is more paired back — letting the visual assets shine and sell the space.

We worked alongside hospitality experts UMI Digital to help bring the designs to life and ensure the third-party booking experience still represented the brand.
